I would like to TOAST John Bekkering.  Mr. Bekkering came to do a market evaluation on my home as I was going through a divorce and needed to sell the house.  He came over the same day I called him.  Within 3 days he came back with a 15 page market evaluation complete with pictures, house comparisons, etc.  He then suggested that I save myself the realtor fees and sell the house privately with his help.  When I did get the go ahead to list the house he gave me advice on when to place ads and what to say in the ads.  I put a sign on the house and an ad in the Lethbridge Herald and the Shopper on Tuesday.  By Saturday morning I had an offer, when I called John that morning he came over within an hour even though he had an open house, two listing and a showing that same day.  He brought over an offer to purchase filled out all the paperwork and gave me all the other information I would require.  My possession date was only 4 ½ weeks away from this Saturday so he found me and my 3 children a rental property in case we could not find another house in time.  He immediately started looking and showed me every house suitable for my family.  When we did find the house he made sure I got the best deal with a possession date 1 full week prior to my house selling.  When it was time to do the walk through he made sure everything was perfect for me and my children to move in and then gave me a thank you card for letting him help me with my sale and purchase of houses along with a gift certificate to a local restaurant.

I believe that Mr. Bekkering is a guardian angel and deserves some recognition.
